Be a Both/And Leader

In today's tough economy, do leaders need to be dogged, analytical, and organized, or should they be empathetic, charismatic, and communicative? The answer is simple: they need both sets of traits. Rather than categorizing yourself as a certain type of leader, explore the nuances that today's complex, fast-moving business environment requires. Leaders need to confidently deliver tough messages backed by evidence, but they also need to be sensitive to how those messages are received.
